Amazing Race: N edition
last week has been really busy as we prepared for the first National Communication Research Conference held last January 13-14, 2012 at the UP College of Mass Communication.
As the conference head’s research assistant, i was expected to be at the dept everyday last week for the preparations. Because of this, N and I barely had time for each other, what, with me being busy with NCRC and him with experiments and stuff.
So, instead of spending hours in the aft, we squeezed some xemi(xeng+nemi) time in between—hanging out before we went to work, meeting for lunch, and having dinner before going home. He often gets to the college before I do. haha.
One morning tho, when i arrived at the college, he was already sitting at one of the tambayans. As I approached him, he asked me whether i wanted a gift. At first i was like, “whut? hahaha.” So he asked me again and naturally, i said yes. He told me i had to work for it tho. HAHAHA. Then he asked, “Naaalala mo kung san kita binigyan ng rose? May clue dun.”
WHUT. hahaha.
I still went tho. hahaha. I looked really dumb while searching for the clue. haha. Then I found this orange post-it under the seat which said, “Go to the place where you gave me your heart.”
So i went to the tambayan where i said yes to him. haha. and there i found this note which said, “Where I opened mine.”

i went back to him and asked how many stations there were. hahaha. and i really wasn’t sure what he meant with where he opened his heart. akala ko at first, dun rin sa place where i said yes so i asked him and he said, “prior to that.” so i went inside the bldg and headed straight to Long Island. :))
There weren’t a lot of people yet kasi it was really early. haha. I went straight to the table we occupied on that fateful day in November but saw nothing. Or maybe I really just didn’t look. hahaha. I actually cheated while looking for a clue cause I asked the Long Island staff if they saw an orange post-it anywhere. And then this girl said, “Ano yan? Ah,si nemi ba? May nakita ako eh pero hanapin mo.” Aba! nangdamay pa ng iba ‘tong mokong na’to! hahaha. Good this the kuya appeared and said he saw something, lifted the table, and voila! orange post-it spotted and retrieved! haha. it said, “I love you.”
Yes, I melted ng slight. haha. I went back to him with a smile plastered on my face. hahaha. And my prize was! Drum roll please…
A doggie bookmark! hahaha. Because the night before,we went to NBS and I bought a book. How thoughtful! :D

The bookmark is swakto sa book cover. haha.so cuuute! <3
So yeahhh. <3 umapaw lang kilig ko,ganyan. haha.i wanted to blog abt this tagal na pero i couldn’t find the time kaya ngayon lang. hahaha.
Oh yeah, that day, we lunched at CMC cause I only had a few minutes to spare. I didn’t like any of the viands so I settled for a veggie one, the langka. He was so surprised because it was the first time he saw me eating veg. hahaha. That aft, he brought me bbq (my fave) for my daily dose of meat. Now tell me he isn’t the sweetest? :) <3
